K1, K2 or K3? GalooliOTO Customizes Its Smart IoT Units to Fit Each Customer’s Needs

GalooliOTO utilizes AI predictive models in order to provide big automotive companies with its Smart Remote Management Solution for connected vehicles. Simply stated, CV (connected vehicle) technologies allow vehicles to communicate with each other and with the world around them, in order to supply useful information that can help drivers and fleet managers make safer and more educated decisions. These technologies are making the car industry more data-driven than ever. Yet, traditional telematics systems mostly enable fleet managers to use only 20-30% of the data and generate poor-value insights.

To make the most of the vehicle’s data, GalooliOTO offers 3 types of smart IoT units that integrate with the CV technologies, extract their data and turn it into practical business intelligence tools. With a distinct focus on maximizing fleet and workforce performance, GalooliOTO’s SaaS solution enables customers to leverage 70% of the data being collected, analyze real-time reports and convert them into bottom-line financial savings.

Make the Most of Your Vehicle’s Data

K1 – Small and Versatile

The K1 is a smart IoT unit made for extracting data from the connected vehicle with a distinct focus on location tracking and driving behavior. The unit connects to the vehicle’s ignition and battery in order to indicate its On/Off status and health condition. In addition, the unit uses advanced GPS technology to deliver real-time data to Galooli’s server and then displays the vehicle’s route and location on Galooli’s various web and mobile based solutions.

Value Proposition

  • Track and Trace
  • Driver Behavior (Brake, Acceleration, Speeding…)
  • Battery Health
  • POI and Geofencing
  • Theft Prevention – Immobilizer
  • Smart BI Dashboards
  • Customized Reports
  • Configurable Events and Alerts

Key Benefits

  • Light & Small
  • Easy Installation & Configuration

K2 – All in One

Similar to the K1, the K2 IoT unit is made for extracting data from the connected vehicle in order to turn it into actionable business insights. On top of that, the K2 can connect to multiple components within the vehicle including OBD (Onboard Diagnostics) or CAN bus, external sensors (such as fuel and temperature sensors), sender wire for accurate fuel level data, and Dallas Key or RF for driver identification. Containing a built-in accelerometer, SIM card, and GPS connectivity, the unit can gather valuable data and then send it to Galooli’s server for reports and dashboard analysis.
